After lots of hard work behind the scenes, we’re incredibly excited to finally open the doors to Grafham Water Cycling Ltd, and we’d love for you to come and celebrate with us on Saturday 23rd May 2026.
This has been a real passion project for us from the very beginning. We wanted to create more than just a bike shop; we wanted to build a welcoming space for the local cycling community. Somewhere people can pop in for advice, have their bike looked after properly, chat about local routes and cycling with the team, and feel genuinely looked after — whether they ride every day or haven’t been on a bike in years.
Being based at Grafham Water (Marlow Car Park), surrounded by some of the best cycling routes in the area, makes it even more special to finally bring this to life.
So, to mark the occasion, we’re throwing open the doors and inviting everyone along for a relaxed day of cycling, community and celebration.
Whether you’re a regular rider around the reservoir, someone who enjoys the occasional family ride, or simply curious to come and see what we’re all about, you’ll be very welcome.
We’ve got plenty planned throughout the day, including:
- Entry into our free prize draw to win a brand new bike*
- Free pre-bookable bike safety checks with our team
- Free puncture repair kits with every booked safety check
- Complimentary hot drinks available throughout the day
- Goodie bags for the first 50 customers through the door
Most importantly, though, it’s a chance for us to properly meet people, introduce ourselves and say thank you to everyone who has supported us already. The encouragement we’ve received whilst getting everything ready has honestly meant a lot.
We know local bike shops are about much more than just selling bikes. They’re about community, trust, shared knowledge, supporting wellbeing and fitness, and helping people enjoy riding more — whether that means weekend rides with friends, family days out, commuting to work or training for your next big challenge.
That’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we want to build here.
So if you’re nearby on the 23rd, come and say hello. Grab a drink, have a wander around, enter the competition and chat bikes with us. We genuinely can’t wait to welcome people through the doors and finally share what we’ve been working on.
